We are both excited and pleased to be able to
inform you that we have the opportunity to go to Edgbaston Cricket Ground and watch a cricket game. The game will be
Birmingham Bears V Yorkshire Lightning
which is a 20/20 game to be held on
Friday 23rd May 2014, the start time
for the game is 5.30pm.
As tickets are limited, this opportunity is
open to hub members / service users firstly, and then may be opened up to
family and friends if there are tickets left. The cost of the trip will be £15
for adults and £5 for U-16’s.
Your place and ticket can be secured by paying a non refundable deposit of £5.00 to any of the sports team or hub staff. You can then pay the remaining amount of £10.00 by Friday 16th May. If tickets are not paid for by this date they may be offered to other people who were on a waiting list.
Individuals who have secured their place on
the trip by Wednesday 5th May will receive a further letter giving
details of the arrangements for the trip.
It promises to be an exciting evening of
sports entertainment, which should last around 3 hours. The cricket stadium is
very accessible with good transport links from all parts of the city - if anyone has any further questions please

Edgbaston Cricket Club now on sale, if you ever wanted to go to a cricket game
why not come along and give it a go at the ever popular, fast, furious and
exciting 20 / 20 match. We will be going to see Birmingham Bears play Yorkshire
Lightning . The games are always popular with a great atmosphere around the
ground and some fantastic cricket in the ground. The stadium is opposite Cannon
Hill Park so transport links from the city centre and into the city centre are
very good.
