The Personal Care Suite
gives visitors access to a brand new facility offering them the chance to come
in when out and about in Walsall and use the suite. It will advantage those
needing to carry out personal care whilst in the town as it offers:
- Shower
- Changing/Showering Bed
- Hoist
- Height-adjustable toilet and basin
Walsall Hub will not be
supplying sling, visitors are asked to bring their own, therefore details of
the sling will need to be accurate when filling in the registration form to
ensure that it is compatible.
The Personal Care suite can be accessed by members of the
Walsall Hub only. This is to ensure that anyone using the facility fully understands
how to use the equipment and the compatibility of slings if they are required.
It will be required to complete a registration form prior to using the Personal
Care Suite, these can be found in the information centre.

Monday to Friday
9.00am – 4.30pm
If you require the Personal Care Suite outside of these
hours please contact the Information Centre on 01922 616 798 to ask about
availability.
This facility is solely to support
parents/carers of disabled people who require the use of a hoist, changing
bench and /or centrally located toilet.
Parents/Carers are welcome to use this
facility but must register with the attendant on arrival.
